The pics Jerry posted looked almost SH size, but I know a lot of you went to the creek. Lets see some pics of that beauty, especially with others knives next to it. The only i've seen were from Andy which sold me on the knife. I'm very excited to receive mine, it'll make a great EDC blade for me.

Also, this is my first doublecut blade. How do they hold up to use?

I love satin, but after use it looks like absolute hell (Atleast after I use it), does double cut fair any better?

Double Cut stands up very well. I prefer it to satin - esp for the ones I am going to really use :)

For what it is worth, I personally prefer regular old satin.

Double Cut looks fine - even very nice, but with use, any scratches on a double-cut finish look more noticable and more out of place.

Further, I can clean up satin easier as most any finish "I" apply would be satin. In other words, I can blend in "Use" marks easier on satin. I cannot duplicate the Double Cut finish/look. So, any buffing up, on Double-Cut looks like satin finish scratch marks on Double-Cut.

I have found that with double cut a little fine steel wood will clean up most scuffs that would look bad on satin - which I can not clean up :)

But to each his own - and I grant that my skills with such things are not that great :)
