Can you believe this?

The guy's email address is bladeauction@usa.net, not sure if it has anything to do with bladeauction.com. Yeah, what a scam, the bid's currently at $31. And he's suckered 3 people to bid on it. It's their loss..

Oh, and I noticed a BM42as at bladeauction, and the seller is located in Germany. I wonder what the odds would be of the bidder actually receiving the bali, if they happened to be located in the US?

I'm in the wrong business.

Has anyone yet seen this thing to know what it is? Man, with as much stuff as you can come up with by just typing balisong into any search engine and then following the links, why buy a disk for $40?

Geez Louise! $76?!!

That guy is nuts! I think maybe he thought he was getting the bali.

I was wondering about these too. The guy has like 10+ going at the same time. A couple end real soon. Maybe one of us should bid on it at $4.95 and let the world know what a crock this guy is...if he is a crock...crock...crock...what a funny word...

if you're not now...you never were!

I say someone e-mail one of the auction winners after it closes, and find out if it's worth the 70-some-bucks put into it... which could have gone toward a BM42.

It would make perfect sense it it were. Reasons? The pictures the seller shown are pics taken by Knifezilla, AKA Josh. Otherwise, unless the seller got authorization for the pics, then the items would be breaking copywrite laws.

What a scam! I'll probably not buy anything from knifezilla again, if this is true....

Howdy, that is somewhat harsh. In my opinion, Josh is a good guy, and usually has great prices on BA...

I'm just really curious on what it is on this disk. You really can't fit that much on a 1.44mb floppy.

I feel bad for the people spending so much on these. I think Josh should make a set price for each, and have them on auction for multiple copies at a time. If Josh has any conscience, he wouldn't be able to charge these guys that much for a disk. If he does, and all they get is a 1.44mb floppy, then this shows something about his character.

Exactly!

Someone was asking about it on the Benchmade forum after buying it. He didn't know anything about it. Check it out here.

I noticed that the majority of those auctions were withdrawn. It was clear to me reading the auction text what was being sold. Anyone who thought they were getting a knife doesn't speak English. I'm sorry, but don't play on eBay if you don't have a minimal command of the English language.

People get all excited when they see an auction. Keep in mind, though, folks that it usually isn't closing this minute. You can take a few minutes, read all the information, etc. You don't have to rush into making a bid.

It was very clear to me too. But what got me was that the information being sold, on a measley 1.44 diskette, can be had in under a few minutes of casual internet searching. And people are bidding up to $77 for this crude.

Worse yet, to be confirmed still, is that a reputable online knife business is responsible for this. I think a boycott is in order if Knifezilla is truly responsible for conducting themselves this way. Sorry for sounding so steamed, but this really hits home with me

I also agree that it was clear what was being sold. i never thought for a minute that it was actually a knife of some sort. My guess on the disk issue is that it is in fact a cd, not a floppy, and the word "disk" is just reffering to something holding computer data. i may be wrong, did it actually say somewhere that it was a 1.44? If so, i agree that it must have been a pathetic amount of info. I am very curious to find out if it actually was Josh, and if not, who???
