A long time ago I bought a benchmade rift with a plain edge here on the forum. The seller accidentally sent me a serrated knife. I live in Europe so sending it back would have cost too much.

Is there any way I can buy a new blade?

Not usually. I would suggest contacting their customer service department via email and ask; they do make exceptions but it's theirs to decide.

I'm pretty sure you can. You send in the blade to Benchmade under warranty. Tell them you want a plain edge instead of your serrated edge and they'll treat it as if you broke the blade. I believe it is a 25 dollar charge, plus shipping.

That's accurate, but read the post, the OP lives in Europe. I ship stuff over there all the time and it's very $$, so I can see why he doesn't want to.

Should have sent it back at the sellers expense when you were unsatisfied, that being said, I have heard of parts being sent overseas, never a blade.
