Hello,
I was hoping someone could provide some guidance on changing the thumb stud on the Benchmade 940 for something like the Gerber Fast Draw F.A.S.T assisted opening blade. I like the longer stud on the Gerber because I can open it one-handed and quickly. I cannot do that with my new Benchmade because the stud is too short.

Has anyone changed theirs out?
Is this easy enough to change? I figure it is but I don't want to void my warranty or something on my new knife.
Where can I find the correct stud?
