Can you choose a specific birth date if buying new?

Hi, I really want to buy a large lefty sebenza with micarta inlays for my birthday on Dec 6, and I would absolutely LOVE it if i could get one "born" on Dec 6. I wouldn't mind having to wait a few months to receive it, So I am just wondering if they let you request a knife from Chris Reeves to be made on a specific date? I know its not really that big of a deal to most people, but I've never had one and it will be my most expensive knife purchase by far so I want it to be really special. Thanks.
 
You would have to call or email them to ask.

They have a pretty extensive backlog, so keep that in mind.
 
They are not open on Friday, so you will have to wait until Monday to do so.

I asked once if I could order one and request that it be assembled on a certain day, they said no.
In hindsight, it was a pretty silly request.
But Sebenzas will make people do silly things...
 
I wanted a sebenza that was made on my wedding day, so I called and asked one to be reserved. I couldn't choose what they were making but heather let me pick out of the ones available from that day.
 
I recently talked to Heather about this same thing. As long as you give enough notice, and it is a day the shop is working it is doable.

Would be for the best to ask crk directly though.
