Can you feel a rolled edge?

Lately, I felt the edge of knives that I sharpened and have been used for a few days afterwards. They are plain boring stainless steel.
I get the same feeling that I get when feeling a burr - is that a rolled edge, or is it that I still suck at deburring?

If the feeling is different, what is a rolled edge feeling like?

If you got rid of the burr when sharpening, then what you're feeling is a rolled edge.
A wire edge will roll immediately during use.

Yes
I take it to my finger nail. If it slices into the nail (ever so slightly) easier one side than the other or just skates on one side then it is rolled or at least biased to one side.

Or if using your finger nail creeps you out too much (I have had people refuse to try it) then use a fruit or vegetable.

PS: if you can do this with a tomato then your edge is not only sharp it is SHARP.

A rolled edge will be dull and if you look down at the edge apex it's likely to reflect light and look flat. Typically, it's very easy to feel and see.
