I should have this gorgeous fighter in my hot little hands in the next day or two.The blade is 6 inches, made from ATS-34 steel,Tapered tang construction.Ironwood for the handle. Can anyone guess who made this wicked work of art?

If I'm not mistaken that could be one by Ray Beers. If I'm wrong I feel like this:o

I want to think Herron, but the serial number doesn't fit. How about Kuzan Oda?

It is definitely not a Herron. Most, if not all of his later stuff had the numbers etched. Wrong styling too. It is made in the Loveless style. It has to an older piece. I don't know of anyone who is stamping the serial numbers in the blade.

Serial number looks like too many for his career, but I'll guess John Young.

Sorry Guys No one was even getting close.I guess I kinda cheated, the maker's name is Ricardo Romano from Brazil.I added another pic up top too:cool:

Ricardo Romano is one of the "old school" guys from Brazil. Never had the chance to talk to him, but I know his work from collectors and pictures, and had a number of chances to have some of his knives in hand when visiting collectors or when they took their collections to shows. He works on stock removal and likes some traditional designs. He is also one of the first custom knifemakers in Brazil to start on the profession in early 80´s. Just some local history to add to the nice addition of your personal collection Buddy.

Wonderful presentation. I've never even heard of him. Now I do!
