Hey guys first post, this is a great forum even though I'll be cleaning up drool for a year after looking at all of these sick knives! Quick question:
I've got a small 2000 maple burl LE? Can I send this knife to CR and have it refurbished? I know you can a normal one but I'm not sure how they'd do a LE because of the wood being in the way. Anyone had a LE done before? If so anyone know what all did they do... sand the wood, blast, etc?
Also I had a question about the DT raindrop damascus. I've been seeing pics of some older ones where the raindrop has a little different pattern than the newer ones and really like the old stuff a lot better. Does anyone know when Mr Thomas changed his pattern bc I want to try to find an older one with the different pattern
