It is a large sheath knife. The blade looks alot like a SOG grind. On the side of the blade it says 015/200.It must be a special edition #15 of 200.The handle is very large kind of square black or dark green linen micarta with finger grooves.large hilt and pommel with brass and aluminum spacers on each end.The blade also has two small military type shields or markings under the 015/200 marking.Black leather sheath with stone pocket. If you know the name of this knife and what it might be worth, please let me know!
Thanks!!
Matt.

Pontiaker, if the Al Mar in question has 2 distinctive swedges on blade top and a protruding stud at the end of the pommel then it must be the model # 4008A1 SF/SOG which had a suggested retail of $282.00 in 1995. It sports a 6.75" blade length and 1/ 4" thick 6A steel with OAL of 12". Oh yes, black micarta scales. Do I win a prize??

Sounds like the one AG Russell has on his Weekly Specials Page for $345.
He has a few other collectible AMKs, as well.

Sorry Nakano, no prize but thanks for the info!

That knife at AG Russell is the same as mine but it has leather stacked washer handle and no special markings, production numbers. Thanks for pointing me to it!
