Can you help me figure out a franken-knife design?

Hello all,

I picked these up at the flea market with intentions to make a franken-knife out of them, and am unsure of the compatibility of different blades and springs. I was wondering if thinning blades to fit another frame's backsprings would be viable, it seems like it would work. The Schrade jacknife and Queen stockman have very similar frames, I'll know if they are matching once I have an idea of what I'm going to build and begin dissassembly.

Here are the thicknesses:

These blades are broken stubs, but spring may be useful

Queen
Main: 0.092 in.
Sheepsfoot: 0.080 in.
Spey: 0.080 in.

Camillus
Main: 0.090 in.
Secondary: 0.067 in.

Schrade
Main: 0.096 in.
Secondary: 0.075 in.

Here's a shot of, from left to right, the Queen, Camillus, and Schrade.

The Queen's blades are all worn down and out of shape, I think the spey could be salvaged into an awl, and the sheepsfoot into a small coping blade. I plan on making the Schrade's blade into a wharnie, and the Camillus into a sheepsfoot. I want to have a knife with a main sheepsfoot or wharnie, as I find them most useful to me.

I've browsed a few of the how-to threads detailing slipjoint disassembly and rebuilding, and feel confident in that regard, what I'm looking for mainly is help and guidance on what can and cannot be put together, but ANY help, recommendations, tips, etc. are very appreciated.
LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANY OTHER INFO, PICS, OR SPECIFICS I MAY HAVE LEFT OUT!

Connor

It's best to keep the respective blades in their handles.
You not only have thickness to worry about, but the pivot holes will have to be in exactly the same position, or the backsprings won't match-keeping the knives from working.

Bill is correct. Perhaps if the knives were from the same manufacturer, you'd have a better shot at this. The schrade is a swinden key assembly, so to try to reuse anything else with that, the construction would have to change entirely.

With those choices, it would be very difficult to cobble anything together unfortunately.

Thank you Bill and Glenn, I don't know why I didn't think about blades not working on different pivots.
I didnt know Schrades were swinden, this is my first Old Timer. I'm planning on making the Camillus a single blade Sheepsfoot, and the OT a single wharnie. The Queen will be restored as best as it can.

Thank you both,
Connor
