A buddy of mine whose deceased father gave me this set of knives.

It is called "The service series" commenmorating 200 years of service. Their is a knive for the Army, Navy and Marine Corps. On the bottom of the largest of 3 blades there is stamped "limited Edition", USA and a bird like (raven?) with outstreched wings. One bolster of each knive has 2003 engraved on it. Sorry my camera or I could not take a picture of the stamping clearly.

I have never seen them on the web before but a guy has a set on Ebay right now and he doesn't have any infomation listed on the knives.

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

James F. Parker, Parker Cutlery Co. The spread eagle was his mark. He wasn't a maker but a merchant. Not sure who the maker was. Some of his early knives were made for him in Japan.

If you look at the pics of the knife in the link I posted , you'll see it is marked exactly the same .

Thanks Mike, I did not originally scroll down far enough to see it. I can now see what else I can find out about them.

Thanks again,

Jim
