Can you help me identify this blade?

I inherited this recently. There's no markings whatsoever on the blade, handle, or the sheath. Is this just somebody's personal project or does it look familiar?

I suspect it is a kit knife or just a blade blank that someone crafted and handled, etc.. Whoever crafted it did a nice job.

Looks like a Schrade Sharpfinger, which was produced in many variations over the years -- or perhaps just a knife, kit or otherwise, based on the Sharpfinger's profile.
