Dear Forumites,
it is very long I don't post anything: I got married, I had a daughter and these are very time (and money) consuming tasks. Please take note if you are planning the same things.
I am here to ask informations about CRKT Hammond A.B.C. Operator's Model and CRKT Corkum First Strike, the smaller. I was looking for a small fixed blade, like a big neck knife, and here in Italy the only ones it is easy and not so expensive to buy are those.
These knives are very different in the shape: A.B.C. is narrow, thick and "tactical", First Strike is wide, less thick and traditional. Steels are different: AUS-8 and 440-A.
Moreover, A.B.C. has that hole between the blade and the tang: does it make the knife weaker (I know, a knife is not a pry bar)?
Is the A.B.C. so thick it is hard to cut things like food, is it targeted for "combat" or tactical uses?
It is easy to carry the Firts Strike as a neck knife under the shirt?
Many thanks, I am looking forward for your help.
