I'm pretty sure I have a HHFSH, but I haven't found any info on this version. Was it from Blade? A Gaanzzaa? Is it a Magnum? I have the pics with me, but the knife is at home. Trying to firm up details for a sheath. Thanks for any info.

I could be wrong, but I thought the Sabre grind made it a HHFSH. Even then, I guess I need to check the thickness when I get home. I've read there were different thicknesses.

The sabre grind should make it a HHFSH. If so, it should be >.27" thick. I think the HHFSH's came from the Company Store, but those (Ghost, I think) G10 grips don't look like anything standard. I'm guessing a show.

Matt,
Thanks, I think you're right on all counts. I love the look of the Satin Ghosts.

Steve,
It is a very good looking knife. Also, those are Magnum scales. Just realized I didn't address that before.

Thanks Matt,

I received this in a trade, a while back. I've been on the list for a leather sheath, just found out I'm up. That's why I was hoping to get some more details. Thanks again, you've been a lot of help.

It's a heavy heart. Its not original unless sent the black/black back at later date. The g10 is later. The saber is the clue. Its. 270 or its one of kind

Oh I just saw he on phone. Is it double cut? If so still new but its rare.
All the original hhfsh were coated bblack/bcanvas. Then first easton show had satins/canvas with pins. Someone sent one back to be bbdc since it was posted. Maybe how yours was done or it came later at show pr wad ordered.

Also the remakes in satin are tad thicker than the original coated HH due to the paint comes off.:)

I just heard from the original owner. Heavy Heart, Satin, .27", from Knob Creek, may be the only one in this color combo. Once I get a sheath, I'll have to find reasons to use her. I would love to find other Busses in "Ghost" G-10, I started a thread a while back, seems there aren't many around. Of course, I could be wrong.

Thanks,
I need to work on my photo skills. Somehow I made the blades look double cut.

Beautiful knife. Congrats on a great trade. Make sure you post pics of the sheath once it is finished.

Garth

Thanks,
I spoke to Stacy at Armoralleather today. Should be here in a couple of weeks. My camera skills should be improved by then.
