Can you identify these knives?

I'm not selling these. They were a gift, but I have no idea what they are or what they would be used for. To my untrained eye, they look like very large filet knives. I assume they are not weapons since there is no hilt to speak of. Anyone out there know?

Top one is a Kyber Knife. Bottom one is a Choora. They were imported by Atlanta Cutlery years back. They are reproductions of knives used in the Afghanistan area. They have strong spines meant to punch through chain mail armor
