It's got like these things on the handle, and the blade is kinda shaped like a normal knife blade, and it has a hole in it in this one spot, and the lock is kind of funny looking (or is it a can opener?), and it says "Danger: knife is sharp" on the package, and I think it's made of stainless steel, but maybe not. I got it at a store a while ago and was wonder how much it's worth.:D

It's a fake. If it were a real one it would say "Surgical Steel" on it. Sorry....

I think you got a ultra rare alien knife carried by the first ever predator, then found by a hobbit in a lake, then lost again in a volcano, found again by Chuck Norris who gave it to Jack Bauer as a birthday gift (that and a good uppercut). Then, Jack took 2 minutes of his time to sell it in a pawn shop to buy some Axe (did you ever saw him wash during an episode?).

So this is how you got the precious knife, worth millions.

No, its got more of a curve to it, kinda like a banana, but not as curvy as a circle. It has colors too. Maybe its a folding knife.

ok, then it's the one forget by Hatori Hanzo for Julius Caesar later used by Hitler to kill some jew zombies back to punish him just before it was stolen by Pikachu who then went to kill Spongebob Squarepants.

Still worth a lot.

By the way. I DON'T use drugs... maybe I should start.

NO! NO! NO!
You have one of the ultra rare Spyderco Prototypes that was stolen and kept the world from having a SAK on Steroids.

Beat that one! LMAO :p

Sounds like a challenge:

The Creation
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

[...]

On the seventh day, God took a look at its Creation and told Himself "Maaaan, those human really are sick. I should get something to pretect myself. "

God sent the lightnings to break the Earth to it's center. Then God took the iron in the heart of the land, then broke a tree to get the carbon in it. Then He moddled the steel with His bare hands and plunged it in the oceans to RC 60. Then with a powerful blow, tempered the blade.

Then, God oiled the pivot and putted the first EDC ever in His magnificient pocket.

Enough for you?
Hope there are not too many creationists here and that I won't get banned for this offense :o

I still don't think you guys have identified this very special knife to me! I've nearly posted pictures with how descriptive I've been! Did I mention the pocket clip is held on by screws? How about that it has two bevels? Oh yeah, its kinda pointy at the tip. I don't think its divine, it'd probally be more glow-in-the-dark if it was divine. And I poked myself with it, and didn't get the blight, so I don't think it was forged in Gondolin, Middle Earth. If their are any experts on blades that date in the A.D. centuries, they would probally know, because I am mostly sure it was forged sometime in the last two millenia. When were Torx screws invented? Cause I'm pretty sure this knife was made in that time period.

Wait -- you say it has Torx screws, but are they really screws? Can you turn them? Or are they just part of a one-piece plastic handle, molded to look like it has screws in it?

nough for you?

No worries- we aren't all up tight:)

Actually, you had a good one;)

You got a point there. They must not be real screws because he kept trying to turn them but his fingers just kept slipping off the alleged Torx screws!

They are left-handed Torx screws (aka Xrot screws) for use in the Southern Hemisphere.

BRL...

This is true, the torx screws are molded into the Tritanium (yeah, that's right, TRITANIUM baby!) scales! This knife was obviously made before they found out how to make screws that turned! I think we're on the right track...

Bernard Levine, I once ran into a left handed bolt on my turning signal fluid reservoir. I had to use a Metric cresent wrench to loosen it, that was a pain, and I was late for snipe hunting because of it!

Special question: What is the difference between a bolt and a screw?

Mr. Michaelmcgo (if that is your true identity), I am starting to doubt your intelligence. It is quite obvious that the difference is in the spelling although they both have only one vowel.

However, I think we are beginning to narrow down the origin of this particular knife. Again, I'm pretty sure I am very familar with this knife as I have never owned one - but first, does the blade have a point at the end?

does the blade have a point at the end?

YES! As a matter of fact it does have a point! It's only on one end though. The blade color is more of a nickle than silver. It's a real subtle difference, kinda like the difference between beige and taupe. One more thing I forgot to mention, it opens AND closes! That was one of the main reasons I bought this knife.

Is this the type of knife where the handle doubles as a cover for the blade when it's closed?

But if there's a lack of a backspacer then wouldn't the blade come out on the other side and cut your palm. For a second there, Josh, I thought you were really onto something!

It does have two things on either side of the blade when it's closed, but I doubt it is the handle! Backspacers weren't around when this knife was made, only something that resembles a modern day partial backspacer. I think it might have a pocket clip on it as well, but it might be another can opener.
