Just received this one today. My 10th Anniversary all Ti Emerson was getting kinda gnarly, so why not only have a spa treatment done to it, but also get some pimping done.
Checkered titanium backspacer was already installed. I've always admired those frame locks with G-10 scales like the work that Greg Lightfoot and Kirby Lambert does. So I had my bro Phil put in some Micarta scales. The same color Micarta as most custom Emersons has. Matches the knife very well. He made sure to keep the scales as thin as possible to keep from adding too much bulk to the knife's thickness. Sure does give the knife nice feel in the hand.
The blade had some serious scuffs in the ceramic coating, so it was given a satin finish.
I'm satisfied with the work.

That back spacer is sweet, the shrunken scales are spot on, a really nice job done all round. :thumbup:
