Can you obtain replacement boxes from Benchmade?

I have a 550HG and one of the dogs got the box off the desk and chewed it. Does Benchmade sell empty boxes? I'd pay for the box and shipping if they do.

I would call them. Otherwise if you send a knife in for Life Sharp service they say not to send the box and they return your knife in a new box but it may not be exact.
Are you keeping that Griptilian in the safe? Grips are users they hate safes.

They replaced my BM42's box, 10 years after they discontinued it.

The box helps to keep the value of the knife. Call them at 800-800-7427 and ask for customer service.

I've asked for a couple boxes and they were only able to supply me with their generic gray life sharp box. Not specific model number boxes. But it's always worth calling, especially when it's Benchmade customer service.

That has been my experience. Even if you could get a blue (or black) box, it wouldn't have the original label.

Well I sent my 42S in, they said they had to find a handle, and the blade needed to be replaced. No more serrated blades left so mine got replaced with a plain. New box says Bm42 instead of bm42s. Wish they still made them, took it out to photograph. I almost cried taking it out of the box. I took it out of the box once to inspect it, but not flipped since I got it back.
