Breacher bar? I have some of Aldo's 1084, 1/8, 1 1/2 wide. I would think the HT would have to be on the lower end so it would be somewhat springy. (I plan on doing it with my redneck forge (charcoal grill/leaf blower combo). Hey, I'm just playing around with steel and learning. Don't judge me!)

I would appreciate any HT and tempering advice. What do you think?

I have a friend/neighboring knife maker/police officer that makes a "pryknife". A2 to 59/60; some of his brother officers carry them and have not broken yet. More spring equals lost energy.
