Hey guys! If you already own, or if you purchase second hand, a Busse that you would like to make modifications to, can you send it to the Busse Custom Shop and pay for additional modifications? Or is that not an option?

As far as I an aware, the custom shop has been closed for a long time in taking orders. You can send it in if it needs fixed/ repaired, but the shop will not make any custom changes to it as far as I know. Jerry and the crew there will definitely take care of the blade as it is though.

That’s unfortunate. I appreciate the info though! Maybe someday they’ll start taking orders again. 🤞🏼

It's unfortunate, the Custom Shop was something that was a draw to me. For all intents and purposes, the CS does not exist at all (for at least 5-6 years). You can't get custom work done to an existing blade and you can't order a custom blade.

I was much more likely to use CS services rather than the warranty and they are leaving money on the table.

Busse's business model is... interesting.

Their business model is alright, considering how much I spent last year heh. They are turning out banger models that people have been waiting for for years.

Flip side retoolling for the titanium folder...that is a hell of an investment...and pretty sure takes a huge chunk oit of the profits. I'm sure we will see a huge variety of folders in the future to make sure the costs are covered.

As far as CS goes, they are still doing their thing, just not taking requests. There is a CS section on the site that has customized models. I picked one up few month ago that would have been pretty close to what I would have custom ordered anyway.

The short answer is no.
