20180205_212152.jpg Not too hard to miss this Blem. Cocobola with 5160 steel.

Boiled some vinegar and some mustard to force a patina on the 5160 steel. I'll do some more tomorrow.20180205_225720.jpg 20180205_230016.jpg 20180205_230114.jpg 20180205_232255.jpg 20180205_232307.jpg

That blem is pretty insignificant if you are going to use the knife - maybe sand it lightly overall, work that area, then rub a new finish on the handle? OH

What "blem"?
Evidence of a twig once growing on a piece of wood is not a "blem". :)
Beautiful 119 you have there.:)

Blem doesn't bother me at all. Unique for sure.

One time for 5 min in boiling vinegar. Then a couple mustard applications. Fun to experiment with.

Looks like whoever did the fuller really hashed up one side.

I wouldn't mind the black dot on the handle.
