Can you suggest makers for new leather pants for my RC-6?

I'm looking to have a leather sheath made for my RC-6 with a firesteel loop that will fit the RAT Firekit.

Suggestions?

I'm not sure whether he can make a firesteel loop large enough for the RAT Firekit, but I'm sure Martin Swinkels can make a gorgeous pair of leather pants for the RC-6. Check him out here, you can always ask whether he could modify the loop.

I agree with the other poster that a loop for the RC-firesteel kit might not be very good. Too big and the kind of thing that will loosen up. I suggest having a front pouch placed on the sheath designed to fit the firesteel. I'm sure the leather worker can come up with something, but they'll need the firesteel also.

A pocket like that will also be a bit more useful for putting other things in as well. A giant firesteel loop will be useless for anything else. Finally, after getting everthing made, I'd order about 10 or so of the replacement steels and perhaps even another full firesteel kit. That way you don't have to worry about supplying a replacement with your now proprietary sheath.

My thinking on the loop was something like a "double loop". A larger loop to hold the body and a smaller loop underneath for the firesteel rod to fit in and also wouldn't allow the body to slide down further than it should.

Sorry, I hadn't sent you sn email yet. You're on my list though. I've been doing this mostly from my phone, so it's slow going for me.
