Can you tell me about this knife set?

I just came across this set that my mom has had for years (she does not even remember where she got them from or how long she has had them). I tried to do some digging, found a little about the company but not much else. I thought they were neat! The only thing I know is that they are from the Geo. Worthington Co. in Cleveland.

Any idea as to where I can find more info about this? I cannot figure out how to attach a picture of the set? But they are a set of three, with a knife, large fork and it looks like some sort of straight poker. They have handles that look like they are made from either bone or antler of some sort?

thanks!
Valerie

Figured out how to get a picture of it!

A carving set the handles seem robe a synthetic of some kind but it's hard to tell with a picture! .... use it! It looks great !

The "thing that looks like a poker" is a sharpening steel, used to touch up the knife edge during use.

Sheffield, England-produced sets such as this were common (often purchased as wedding gifts) in the 1950s-early 60s. Carbon steel versions gave way to chrome-plated and ultimately gravitated to stainless all in the course of about 15 years.

"Vintage" carving set with genuine faux stag handles made of some ultra high-tech 50-60's space age plasticene type material.

Got a roast beast that needs some carving? This will do it.
