Hello,
Just picked up this knife at a Fair and wanted to know what pattern this is an what the brand is if anyone knows. I don't think there is any writing on any blades or the shield.
Here it is:

It was pretty inexpensive but I wanted to know what pattern it was and what brand.
Thanks for any help, Matty :)

The pattern looks to be a Whittler.

The Brand is an IDunno.

The jigging of the bone the grind of the blades look a lot like Rough Rider to me. The pattern is a whittler, but whether it's a "true" whittler (2 springs, main blade riding on both), I can't tell from the photos.

Thanks, Planterz. It does look and feel a lot like my rough rider knife. It's weird that it has no markings though.

I second RR.It has the "golf ball" jigging similar to mine.

Also called a balloon whittler because of the slightly bulbous bolsters. As mentioned, the true or split back spring whittler has a thick main blade that rides on both of the secondary blade springa, making it roughly twice the thickness of the secondary blades. I think Whittlers are characteized by the three blades with a quite heavy main blade and at least one very pointy secondary.

RR Brand blades are well marked. Frost Cutlery is probably the better guess.

I'm leaning more towards Frost now too. The RRs in a similar patter that I see all have matchstrike pulls. I doubt it's a Steel Warrior Frost though, as SW is a SMKW trademark, and will be marked as such.
