This nice neck knife is hand crafted from 1095 high carbon steel and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. Fire etched blade gives each knife a look of its own. kind of looks like damascus steel. Handle is curly maple and held to tang with 4 brass rivets, a very nice wood to metal fit. Blade is 3 3/4 inches long and 3/4 inch wide at handle. Overall length 6 1/2 inches.Maker has his initials of R.T. engraved over his touchmark of a canoe right above the handle. Comes with a vegatable tanned cowhide leather neck sheath with leather thong attached.
