Can you tighten the plastic BK11 sheaths?

I just stripped my BK11 and scotchbrite'ed the blade and everything, and now the sheath is just slightly loose. It still holds, and I carry it tip down with a TDI clip, but it's annoying. Will heating and compressing work at all?

You might be able to modify it with heat.
I haven't yet tried a Necker sheath though.
My Eskabar sheath had a little play/rattle.
I took a foam ear plug, sliced it in half, and pressed half down into the edge side of the sheath.
Instant fit and play/rattle gone.

All I did was heat it up with the heat gun, then squeeze the retention area with some pliers wrapped in a washcloth, the zip tied the handles to keep pressure on. Less force then vice grips.

Another tip I discovered: If your Becker is stripped and you want to protect the handle under the cord, I found that 1" dia heat shrink tube fits good. Wide it down with some Tuff Cloth, Heat shrink the handle, then wrap.

i did the heat thing with a hair dryer and it did work, improved the retention on the sheath of a bk11, ka bar model
