Can you "wave" a MAXX?

I was toying with the idea of getting a MAXX, mainly since my brother "liberated" my KA-BAR USMC knife, I'm at a loss for a larger knife. To replace it, I thought of a folder, and of course the MAXX is a big one.
Anyway, after staring at some of the online pics, it looks to me as though you could hook the quillon ("flipper" or whatever you wanna call it) with the thumbstud on the edge of a pocket and "wave" it open. I know it would have to be carried tip up in the pocket of course. Anyone try this? I'm just curious.

And yes it is possible, and you are right that it would take relocating the clip. In fact, on Darrels newer custom Maxx's, there is the option to carry it tip up.
