I'm sure many folks remember the Blade HQ video of the Cali legal Espada XL:
Well, Canada needed something similar...
The Cold Steel Urban Pal is a single edged push dagger.
The only "T-handle" knife allowed under Canadian law is the Ulu, so that is a problem, especially when one has to enter Goose Gang territory:
Man, an Urban Pal would help keep me alive, but I don't want to go prison...wait, a solution!
The all-new, Canada-legal Urban Pal with stag handle:
But that one is a bit long in the handle. Good for control and leverage, but not for concealment.
Luckily, there is another option:
And if you don't want to fight the Goose Gang yourself, why not have an armed bodyguard do it for you:
By the way, that Mjolnir was forged by me yesterday, out of Nitro-V steel.
Then, for a lark, I decided to try heat-treating it with a charcoal forge...and succeeded!
Heated it to almost melting temperature, then ran into the garage and blasted it with compressed air.
Not sure what Rockwell hardness it reached, but sure wasn't able to touch it with a file anymore.
So, I have what may be the only Canada-legal Urban Pals, likely the only Nitro-V Mjolnir, and am almost certainly the only person to have heat-treated Nitro-V with a charcoal forge.
