Canada: Pocket FE Carry?

I recently obtained a David Farmer "tribal" pocket fixed blade... the thing truly IS pocket-friendly. The blade is about 1 3/4" and looks like a curved damascus straight razor. In sheath, the whole package is about 4" or so.

I'd LOVE to carry this on a regular basis, but have some concern that Canuckistani law would frown upon a fixed blade carried in the pocket, even one so small. I can imagine an accusation of having a "concealed weapon", as opposed to having a folder on my person. Speed of retrieval and all that.

As usual with our laws, there's room for the interpretation and judgement of LEO's I could theoretically encounter, so I don't expect any definitive answer. However, I'd still be interested to hear some ideas, opinions, and feedback

Dont worry about, as long as you dont act like some punk ass, or dress like a thug you'll have no problem. With a blade that small I can't see a cop careing (or even knowing it's there if it's in your pocket). If you give cop's a good reason to search you it's a different story :p Keep you nose clean and you wont have any trouble.

To add: I'v gone shopping with a 4" blade fixed on my belt (fallkniven F1) and no one batted an eye lash. That wasn't edc tho.

Thanks for a quick response, Mr. Greulich! Sounds pretty sensible. The lack of a point on the thing might also decrease the likelihood of it being seen as a weapon.

Seems like I shoulda had more reason to worry when I used to carry a kubotan keyring!

kubotans are fine if there on your keys, in fact mine wasn't a kubotan at all, it was a nice grooved, painted steel rod :D Not a strange key fob for a machinist to have. In fact Mr. police man, I dont even know what a kubotan is? I have never heard of such a thing before. This is so I can get my keys out of my pocket, not knock out the teeth of someone trying hurt me :D
