canadian belt knife w/hard hat scales

hey ya'll,

well just finished up this'en for a forum member. he wanted a canadian belt knife, but with a custom touch added, so i took a handle design i use, and incorporated it with the canadian style.

the blade is 1095,

the handle is a brown fiberglass hard hat he sent me and asked that i come up with a way to cut it down into scales and put it on the handle, looks alot like brown micarta, in a sense i guess it is. pins are bronze.

Hello, I am soon to be the recipient of this knife. This is my first custom knife and i could not have been happier with the whole process. I was after a very functional EDC for small game and general use. The knife ended up looking better then I imagined it could. I dont know how akatach was able to figure out precisely what I was after with my vague descriptions but he nailed it dead on. I cant wait to put it to some good use. Thanks Andrew for making my intro to the custom knife world so pleasant, you are an excellent example for customer relations.
