I live in the middle of nowhere Canada. If I am interested in a Spyderco design that isn't a top seller it is unavailable from any mainstream distributer I can:
1) Special Order and get the highest possible price.
2) Order from the USA and pay big shipping and hope customs won't get involved
3) wait for it to be discontinued and eventually forget about it.
If there was a full line Canadian dealer who didn't charge the big mark-up I'd have more knives and less money so perhaps I shouldn't complain.
