Canadian knife maker??

I'm looking for a Canadian knife maker. Not sure of his name or the knife that he makes but what i do know about him is he used to be a custom scale maker for some of the spyderco models then he designed a knife and started producing it , its and odd looking folder with a bearing system and a re curve blade.

hopefully that rings a bell with someone

help identifying this knife and/or maker would be greatly appreciated.
