Will, I just got back from attending the AUSA Show in Washington, DC. Stopped by the booth and saw the bayonet, the wire cutter is a great idea. Moving on I stopped at the Canadian Army Booth as I had been invited down by one of their Sergeants who had stopped at our booth. Low and behold I turn around and there is the Canadain Sniper I met in Khandar, Afghanistan last April who had been part of the team that shot the Tailban at a record 2430 meters. He had used our Leica Viper Binocular Laser Range Finder to range the guy. He is the one that I gave the Becker C&U 7 knife (the one you gave me) to. He was surprised to see me too and told me how much he liked and has used the C&U 7. Sometimes it is truly a small world. The last two C&U 7's you send me (with the tan handles) also went to the troops. One went to a Ranger who had just come back from TF20 in Iraq (he will be returning) and the other went to the Honor Graduate of a 1st Special Forces CQB course, who will be in an area soon that he can used it. Thanks again for your support. Take care, John.

Canadian Sniper record, hooyah!
Great that he enjoyed the becker series. I haven't got around to get one yet, but I have a taste with the CQB-3

Yes folks, ranfed with a Leica and then the Sniper threw his Becker 2430 meters and scored a "hit"! Hehe :)

Thanks for the update John, I remember the Tac Knives article well, and re-read it every month or so.
