Here are some before and after pictures of an OKC Carter Prime
Best buy of the year in my opinion. They did save some expense in a few areas but most can be easily fixed.
1. Subjective con - the sharp butt end of the frame
2. No lanyard hole when there is plenty of room
3. T6 hardware
4. Non removable lock bar insert
5. Half sized IKBS
6. A bit of a billboard of advertising on the blade. That can easily be blasted then tumbled.
They do use hardened steel washers so the ball bearings don't wear into the titanium. The 3D milled pocket clip is not an extremely stiff clip. It works good and it looks good. Generous jimping which is quite functional. This knife has great flipping action with a very free dropping blade which almost falls out on its own weight.
All in all, I highly recommend this knife if you don't mind doing a couple small modifications.
Here is Bob's Sebenza 21
I've found higher voltage colors to be more durable. This was in the tumbler for 30 minutes!! The ceramic tumbling media hardly touched it.
