I just was at a hardware store where I had a great find on a bunch of uncle henrys and old timers. I found 2 897uh's with the canadian box its the gray and red box and a couple of old timer 108ot's with the tan box also canadian. Im not a huge box collector unless its the older boxes but I picked these up in hopes of higher trade value to someone who collects this kind of thing. but my question is that none of the knives in the canada boxes look any different which im sure they arent, so are these boxes more desirable to certan collectors or not really. just thought Id ask before I trade them or ebay one of them. I know there was threads on this stuff before I just couldnt find it. so whats the difference just the boxes. by the way I wasnt trying to trade or sell anything here just asking so I know the values before I sell or trade. thanks - joel

I don't think the knife is any different at all. The box is different in that it must have everything written in English and French by law up here. Don't know the change date but the older boxes did not need French but the newer ones did. Again I do not know the year they started.
