canadians

It's almost always going to be MUCH cheaper to buy a knife from a retailer than from the manufacturer.

Not sure about CRKT direct, but CRKT are available in many sporting goods outlets, and through Canadian and US on-line distributors.

Should be no problem getting hold of one. Check your shipping costs before buying if ordering from the US.

Also be aware that customs can/will seize folders that can be "flicked" open by snapping your wrist. I have never encountered any problems, but be aware of the risk. most fixed blades are not a problem.

Check the Canadian Connection in the Community Forum. There is good info there on importing knives in Canada.

When buying from US get it shipped USPS (never had a problem)...do not accept shipping via UPS, they will charge you a brokerage fee.

Still new to the forums so hopefully its ok to post a link, if not please delete post...

I've ordered from www.knifezone.ca a few times now and never had a problem. They stock a few crkt's. I had also emailed them in the past for a quote for a knife they didnt have listed on the site and a women caught back to me right away. If you havent checked them out it might be worth a try.

One of the better US eStores I have found are these guys, who are among the best on prices and service. If in Canada, you owe it to yourself to check out Jay's store for great prices and service second to none.
