Hi Folks!! Just wanted to let you know that Canal Street Cutlery is having an open house Friday 12/12 (8:30AM to 4:30PM) and Saturday 12/13 (8:30AM to 2:00PM). Hope to see some of you there!

I'm 40 minutes away and can't go. :grumpy:

Charlie, it'd be an absolute honor to have you visit us. I'll be there all day Friday toiling away :-)
 
Shucks, just a 17 hour drive and I could be there! Or a $500, 6 hour plane flight. Hmmm.....

And here I was hoping for Dance Dance Revolution.

-- I won't be able to make it this year, again, but am I right in thinking this is an annual event, this time every year (or even just last year and now again)?

Sarah, that's too bad, I'd have done a little number just for you ;):p

Looks like it will be an annual holiday event. Last year was quite successful, especially for the local folks who were looking for a nice knife to carry but couldn't afford the pristine firsts (although there are a bunch of them available as well). It's quite surprising how many folks didn't realize there was still a knife factory in their town. Lots of old Schrade employees stop by for a look-see too.

7 hour drive here... That's not too shabby. I'm thinking 2015 might mark my first trip to Ellenville!

A bit far for me I'm afraid, but hope it all goes well :thumbup:
 
I'm about 3 hours away, but no way I can make it this weekend. I'm going to put it on my radar for next year though. I hope it's a resounding success, Eric!
 
I'd love to go there but 14 h 48 min, 971 miles - 14 h 2 min without traffic.
For all who make it have a safe trip.
