Canal Street D'Holder Bowie As Camp, Hiking, Survival Knife

I realize due to the cost most will not use these knives if they buy them. They will be safe queens but for the few who have what your impression of it as camp, hiking or survival knife( No not an zombie apocalypse). How would it compare to say an Ontario or Esee 4 or 6 for such jobs.
