I was reading a lot of post the other day about Canal Street Knives, where the tool dies came from Queen ? The new steel 14-1 CrMo, no half lock on the blade. Well it's not where the half lock is for me it's how it locks when open, this Knife locks very well and I like the lack of the half lock, the steel yes if you like the 154cm and ATS-34 then this is great steel. Now the tool dies and blanks did come from Queen used in 2006 and 2007 after that everything was retooled with new Canal Street equipment and their designs, the Bosters and liners are stainless, not nickel silver unless you happen to get an older Knife. Hope this cleared up a few questions. I just received mine, 1 of 20 made with burnt stag scales #07 Very Nice little Knife. This info came right from the Horses mouth.
