for the most part I dont buy knives much anymore, but i received this numbered set from a bladeforums friend and excellent leather craftsman as a trade out for some graphic design services, thought id share them! Beautiful trapper and sheath knife and my first canal street offerings. they have milled/filed liners too... Dont know much about them, but F&F is wonderful
My dilemma, theyre too purty to use :D i suppose there are worse things
a Big thanks to Rick!
Regards
Gene

WOW nice set indeed. I would take those bad boys out in the woods and scratch the heck out of them ;) :D

Looks good and I'll bet they work good. What's the use in having good tools if you're not going to use them? Those are not "art knives" and they beg to be used. They are purty though!!

Glad to see people enjoying their Canal Street Knives, the ones I've seen are quite respectable, and very attractive knives. Those two are excellent.

Nice looking set! I really dig that sheath, the double stitching and embossing are classy looking:thumbup:
Thanks for sharing.

Gene,
I always liked that CSC fixed blade...and I agree with the others, that knife calls for use :)

Yowza! That's a very nice pair! I especially am swooning over the fixed-blade.

That´s a fine looking set, indeed. Congratz on that beautiful assortment. :)

You've got a nice set, sir.
Knowing what little I do about Canal Street, I'm betting that those are very well made knives and made to be used.
As my ol' Pappy always says, "if it looks good, it'll work good".

Not 100% sure, but I think that is one of the 1st sets they offered.

Love the jigged bone on those.
