Dear mighty rulers of Kershaw kingdom!

I recently got this beautiful knife from Thailand made by Yun knife-maker - Hard-II. Thai tactical knife - Yun practice AMOK, Mai Tay and Aikido from 15 year age.

I am so excited about this knife so I decide to bring it to your attention as an excellent candidate for new ZT-1000. I think it will just perfectly fits into your existing line - it is strong tactical knife in military style but with eastern - Thai flavor similar to Hawaiian flavor of ZT-300 made by Ken Onion.

Thanks, Vassili.

NICE KNIFE!
I agree.
I like the finger choils! Blade shape. Flipper. Maybe with assist opening. S30v or 154cm blade.
I also bet Kershaw has something great on the drawing board for the near future similar or better. A ZT2009 ?

What's with the extra piece of material on the back of the pivot screw?
It looks as if it was a leftover piece thrown in.

The "extra material" is a tad to protect the lock bar from over travel sort of the Hinderer
idea, Yuna builds a nice knife all HAND made.

I think this would make a great addition to the ZTK line! i doubt yuna would mind....

I have seen his work before and really dig it. If a production version of one of his designs happened it would be hard for me to resist.

I really like his work and hope to have one someday, maybe one with both sides done in titanium. That finger choil is a great addition as it would really but you on top of your work with that knife. My AR's have the same type choil and I know a few folks here did their JYD II's up with a similar choil. Did I mention that I really liked his work?!?!:thumbup::thumbup:

Yuna's knives are ridiculously nice. Its always a matter of opinion but in mine his are better than all in that sub $500 price range. Better materials (the incredible zdp 189 layering), ti everywhere, better design. I have been saving for one of his lefty's after holding one at a show. Just a better knife. The ZT 0200 and 0300's are badass knives and this would definitely fit with that blend.

Nice pick up!

I am talking about calloboration!

I think this knive will benefit from AO. I hope also it will be out of ZDP189 as original.

Also please look how nicely colors are played together - this was my choice.

Thanks, Vassili.

That is one sweet knife Vassili!!
Whether it made it into the ZT line are a Kershaw
standard prodution......It would make it on my short list.
