Candle Powered Pottery Heater !

Nope, but I've got a bunch of small terracotta Chimineas from a garden center that take candles. Same effect, less hassle.

Would probably work well in a small camper/van. I'll have to keep my eyes out for a few clay pots now.I wonder if it would slowly heat some water in a small container?--KV

This is the original design that the guy on Instructables was inspired by, and this is the website it originated from.

The guy that devised it also has a build page with helpful tips, here, on making the Heater and the stand it sits on.

I did make the one off the instructables site. Its a great toy but the little office I used it in didn't realy get much warmer. If you got all the pots and the nuts at home. I would say go for it but if you want to spend the money to buy one or make it. It not realy worth the money. It has more of the thats cool factor, Not much heat. Now if you make it with 2-3 candles and in a very small room then it just might work.
Now that web site is realy great. I got lots of ideas from it.
