Last Friday, I had an Aus Post pick up slip in my mail box for a parcel to be collected. I didn't remember ordering anything online recently, so I was a little confused as to what it may be.
I picked up the parcel and was surprised to see who it was from - elof_alv from the forums here!!! I hadn't ordered anything from him, so I was quite curious to know what may be in the box.
When I got home and opened it up, lo and behold, the most amazing leather sheath with a gorgeous cane toad skin inlay beamed out of the wrapper at me with a hand written note stating that my ASH2 shouldn't go cold this winter!!! WTF??
I immediately tried calling elof, but to no avail, so I emailed him. He replied saying it was a gift and would accept no money. Out of the blue, just like that, elof_alv went to all that trouble of making this most incredible sheath for my ASH2, just because he's a good bloke. I am totally gobsmacked by his generosity. Mate, if you're reading this, I owe a few rounds when I see you!!!!
This is testament to the kind of people who make this little community of ours so special. Thank you mate, I am really over the moon with it.
So, on with the show. I took several pics of it to try and do it justice. Amazing work...
