I have the small stockman with amber stag scales.
It's a super high quality production slipjoint.

I have not handled any of their knives but their cutlers have literally decades of experience, and most of their runs are of relatively small numbers so they have the time to pay attention to detail and get it right.

Also, over on the Schrade forum we are currently having Canal Street do a forum knife for us. I consider that a big YES vote.

I think you will enjoy your CSC greatly.

I don't really understand why they use mainly 420 steel in their folders, especially at that price.

Especially at that price, they could use a slightly better grade of steel, but it is 420HC not 420J2, so it's not really bad. Unless you're planning on really heavy use, 420HC will hold up fine.

Even if you are planning on hard use, it's just fine.
Buck has used it in the 110 and 112 for decades.

Canal Street does excellent work!

Oxblood Maple Burl Congress #11 of limited run of 50.

Another  for Canal Street Cutlery.

Outstanding fit, finish, and overall quality.
