Hi! I got this awesome knife as a gift but cannot figure out how to unlock the big blade, it feels like there is a little movement before it is blocked. I’ve tried all sorts of things, moving the corkscrew, trying to manipulate the guard, pushing on parts and really shoving the blade back but to no avail. What do you all think?

Thank you!

Thank you!

Ps. Any info on knife would be cool!

Aw man, that has me stumped. I wanted to come in like the wisest wizard and solve your problem, but I can't. Paging Dr. WValtakis WValtakis , do you know what the locking system is on this knife is? I would have assumed that pushing the corkscrew past 90 degrees would have disengaged the lock bar, but the A aduffield says he tried that in the Reddit discussion.

Should not have to go off site to see photos...Post photos of the knife from a few angles here.
However. its possible that you need to push down on one of the smaller blades, not the corkscrew or the punch, to release the larger one. Thats a thing with German knives.

Squeeze one of the secondary blades and push the master home.

And yes, A Arathol is correct, if you want answers here post pictures here, not offsite in future. You can do this using an image hosting site.
You beat me to it by ten minutes. I was just about to say to depress the secondary blade to release the back lock.

This knife has a locking blade that is unlocked by pushing down on the smaller blade when its closed.
