Cannot get my Vulcan sharp

I've tried three separate times to get my Vulcan hair-shaving sharp, but it just won't take a good edge. I've reprofiled it to 20 degrees with Lansky diamond stones and still haven't had any luck with it. I've gotten several knives very sharp using the same techniques, so why is this one so different?

Any tips? Or should I just try to find someone who really knows what they're doing and see if they can get better results?

If it were me, I'd send it to Richard J. After he puts an edge on it you should need very little to keep it sharp. Richard is a great guy and he really knows how to put an edge on.

Watch some sharpening videos online to know what you're doing. Too often when sharpening knives we are doing it too hard, changing the angle or not using the equipment properly.

if you are in the states send me your number and i'll give you a call. maybe i can help you with your problem. if not i can sharpen the knife for you.

Richard you must be psychic.:D
