Cannot get pictures to upload from computer/gold member

I am not able to to post pictures in the trade forum. I have a gold membership(trying to upload from hard drive) but have not been able to post pictures for about a couple of weeks. All I get is "upload failed" no matter how many times I try. I even posted the standard post and thought maybe if I went into edit the post it would them let me add pictures, no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks.

EDIT: I only get the upload failed message when trying to use the basic uploader. With the standard file uploader, when I click on "upload file(s)" nothing happens. It acts like the hyperlink is dead. The only way I can get them to post is to use an image hosting site.

In all the years I've been a member here I don't believe I've ever used the site to host my pics. I have always used Photobucket it's free and easy but there are many other alternatives as well.
 
Yup. Upload your photo's to a hosting site, like Photobucket or your choice, and then link them here.

I don't believe I have ever hosted a photo here either? Just photobucket.
