Hello, I am having trouble posting pictures.

I have upgraded to Platinum Member here and Premium Member at photobucket. So that's all OK.

When I try to post a picture at the insert image icon, and try to paste the link to Photobucket, all that it pastes is the word "center"

Can anybody help me ?

Thanks

The advantage of having a Platinum membership is that you can upload images directly onto the Bladeforums Server (5MB space limit) - provided each individual image is less than 640X480 pixels.

Try this if you have Windows:
1. Edit your post
2. Click on Manage Attachments
3. Click Browse
In the File name field paste your image link (must start with http if it's on the internet)
4. Click Open...wait about 5 secs
5. Click Upload
6. Click Submit

Nordic Viking's instructions should work and that's the coolest way to post pix so you might not want to bother with Photobucket at all, but if you do ...

I think you're trying to paste in several lines of html code that Photobucket gives you that includes the url of the picture but starts out with a line to center the image. The Bladeforums software does not accept html code (too easy to abuse) and only expects one line for an image -- so when it comes to the return at the end of the first line of that code it takes that to be the end of the url and since it rejects the href stuff all you get is "center" -- which is not exactly what you wanted....

You have to paste in the url of the picture and only the url of the picture. I think you can get that from Photobucket now you know what you need from them, or you can rightclick on the picture and choose properties and copy the url and paste that in at Bladeforums.

Hello, sir.

I've figured it out, now. I'm a type of Dinosaur when it comes to computer stuff, but I take time and learn :)

Buy, there is a lot to take in

Cheers
