My oldest son and I went on a canoe camping trip. Conditions were windy with near freezing temperatures at night. We still had a great time exploring the lake and the wilderness

Thank you brother !Making memories he’ll never forget.
Haven’t done any canoeing in 50+ years but as a kid at summer camp you did a lot of swimming and treading water to try and pass the canoe test. You weren’t allowed to take a canoe on the lake until you passed the test. The last part of the test was filling the canoe with water then flipping it over to get most of the water out.
Hope you get to enjoy many more memory making times with your son.
Looks like an awesome outing thanks for sharing! Nice WT as well. I recently picked up a Cold Steel 3V Recon Scout I want to test out. Maybe I can get my daughter to go on a camping trip with me between the current semester and the next one. We hike together pretty often, but haven't gone camping in years because I've been too busy.
