Canoe Hawk in Damascus

Here's one that's been laying on the forge for quite a few month's.Thought i'd take the time to finish it this week for my own collection.There's no doubt that alot of you will say it's just a double bit and it is in a sense, but when it's setting upright in the display case the profile resemble's a canoe.

That's an awesome piece Steve. I'm sorry I still have'nt gotten the chance to stop by hopefully it'll cool down and i'll get to stop by and chew the fat for a spell. Its nice to see you around here posting some cool forged hawks. Your right too it does resemble a canoe, great job.

What's the length of that handle? It looks like it would fit in with a wide range of time periods from the Dark Ages all the way to the American Frontier.
